‘Jei el de los perros’ presents the renewed edition of the School of Happiness
Corferias is ready to welcome, from this Thursday, August 14, through Monday, August 18, a new edition of Expopet, the country’s most important pet fair, which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. On this special occasion, animal lovers will enjoy a must-see experience: The Canine School of Happiness, an interactive, educational, and emotional space led by Jeison Botero, known as “Jei el de los Perros,” designed to strengthen the bond between humans and their pets.
Located in Pavilion 3, Level 2, this area promises memorable experiences for visitors of all ages and their four-legged companions. From scent games and sensory challenges to inclusive circuits and trust-building activities, each experience has been designed with a clear purpose: to celebrate the human-animal connection through mindful play, empathy, and shared fun.
The Canine School of Happiness is being established this year as a true “Disney for dogs,” a unique concept that invites multi-species families to enjoy unforgettable moments. Through sensory activities that stimulate smell, touch, and hearing, guardians can help their dogs manage emotions such as anxiety, fear, and self-control, thus promoting their pets’ emotional well-being.
The creator of the concept, ‘Jei el de los Perros’, states: “The Canine School of Happiness is born from the love and admiration we feel for dogs. It is a tribute to the bond we share with them, an invitation to live in the present and to play as they do: without judgment, without goals beyond enjoyment. Here we are not looking for champions, but for connected hearts.”
Among the highlighted activities is a giant ball pool, where dogs can exercise their sense of smell by searching for hidden chests, stimulating their minds, and building confidence. This experience is ideal for nervous or insecure dogs, as it strengthens their behavior in a positive and safe environment.
Dogscape - The Bond Maze will also be available, a challenge in which the handler, without being able to see, must guide their dog through obstacles. This dynamic represents a true test of trust, communication, and mutual love between the human and their pet.
